Good intentions don’t guarantee results. A good start does not insure a strong finish. It is said that decision is 5%, and following through on the decision is 95%. Once you have decided to make Christ Lord of your life, you will prove that He is Lord as you submit to Him hour by hour and obey Him in the daily affairs of life.

A cross was an instrument of death. Jesus submitted to the cross and died for us. For us to bear our cross means to submit ourselves to Christ to do His will in every situation – saying “no” to our own will and “yes” to Christ. This brings true liberty, freeing us to live for Him.
